Estate Administration
Megan’s practice is focused in the areas of estate and trust planning and estate administration.
Megan was born and raised in Truro. She moved to Halifax in 2009 where she attended Dalhousie University and received her Bachelor of Arts in 2013 with a major in History and a minor in Law and Society. She was on the Dean’s List for two years.
Megan also received her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2016. Megan spent her final semester at the Schulich School of Law working with Dalhousie Legal Aid where she gained valuable experience working with individuals who needed assistance in navigating the legal system during times of crisis. This was valuable background for her practice focus areas – Megan understands that a good estate plan can prevent the chaos and heartache that families experience if they are unprepared for the loss of a loved one.
Megan is a member of the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, and the Halifax Estate Planning Council. Megan is currently on the board of STEP Atlantic.
In her free time, Megan enjoys horseback riding, watching movies, walks at Fisherman’s Cove, and spending time with her husband and toddler.
