Megan focuses her practice in the areas of estate and trust planning and estate administration.
Megan was born and raised in Truro. She has been living in the Halifax area since 2009 and is now happy to call Eastern Passage home. Megan is a proud graduate of Dalhousie University for both her Bachelor of Arts in 2013 in History and Law and Society and her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law in 2016.
Megan spent her final semester at the Schulich School of Law working with Dalhousie Legal Aid where she gained valuable experience working with individuals who required assistance in navigating the legal system during times of crisis. This was valuable background for her practice focus areas. Megan understands that a good estate plan can prevent the chaos and heartache that families experience if they are unprepared for the loss of a loved one. Megan can also help navigate the estate administration process and guide grieving clients through an often confusing and complicated system.
Megan is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, and the Halifax Estate Planning Council.
In her free time, Megan enjoys reading mystery and thriller novels, walks at Fisherman’s Cove, and spending time with her busy family.
